I don't have an MPC, but I PC and an M-Audio Trigger Finger. If your short on funds and what to get in the vibe like an MPC I think Trigger Finger is the way. You can assign any sound, pitch, velocity, etc...
It comes with 16 pads, 4 faders, and 8 nobs that are assigned customly.
